While Shoptopia is accessible nationwide and relevant to anybody who loves shopping, we think it will give you an even richer experience when it's local to you. How can I participate at Shoptopia if I work at a retail store or with a national brand retailer?

Shoptopia provides valuable tools to retailers as well as consumers, and we encourage your participation & involvement in many ways:

• Giveaways and prizes for special events and programs

As a retailer, you can create your own Shoptopia profile and instantly communicate with shoppers. In addition to the core features available at launch, you will be seeing additional features added soon that offer specific benefit to you.

How do I send a message to someone?

It's easy to send a message to your fellow Shoptopians. When you view somebody's profile, click the envelope button in the upper right corner, compose your message, and send! It's that easy.

How do Lists work?

Shoptopia Lists let you discover, collect & organize your favorite products. Think of yourself as the owner of your own boutique, a fashion designer gathering everyday inspiration, or maybe a technology maven assembling your dream lineup.

How do I add items to a list?

After you've added the Bag It! button to your browser, you can add items to any of your lists from around the Web. When you see something you like on a website, click the Bag It! button...

1. Shoptopia will collect all the relevant information.
2. You choose which list to add it to, or create a new list.
3. Make sure all the details are correct. If not, then click "Edit Details" at the bottom.
4. Add a comment and tags if you like.
5. Look good? Click Submit!

What is the Bag It! Button? Where is it on Shoptopia?

The Bag It! button allows you to add things to your Shoptopia lists from anywhere on the Web. This tiny application was designed to easily install on your computer; it's always there when you need it. See something you like? Bag It!

To install the Bag It! button to your computer's Web browser, go to the Shoptopia Tools page. From here you can install a version of Bag It! to your favorite browser; installation instructions are right on the page. Bag It! is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6, 7 and 8 (PC), Apple Safari (Mac/PC), Mozilla Firefox (Mac/PC), Mozilla Camino (Mac), and Google Chrome (PC).

What are all these Lists?

When you create a new list, you can call it whatever you want and make it public or private. But we thought you might like to start off with a few ideas...

You can add new lists, edit any of your existing lists, change the names, or delete them. It's all up to you and what you want to do.

What's the difference between public and private lists?

Public lists are visible to Shoptopia members as well as the public. Private lists are visible only to you; not even your friends can see them.

How do I cancel my account?

The simplest way to cancel your account is to send a request using the Contact Us for at www.shoptopia.com/contact. Just make sure you are logged in so we will know who you are. We'd be sorry to see you go, but we would hope you tell us a little about why you have decided to cancel your account.

How do I change my profile photo?

1. Start by making sure you are logged in.
2. Click on "My Profile" in the top navigation menu from anywhere on Shoptopia. You can also click your profile name in the Alerts area in the upper right of each page.
3. Click the "Edit" button in the upper-right of your profile page.
4. Choose the "Photo" tab.
5. Click "Choose Photo," navigate to the photo you want to use, and click "choose."
6. Click "Save" at the bottom and you're done!

I tried to upload a profile photo but I got an error each time. What happened?

1. Make sure your image is in a file format that Shoptopia can handle. We accept .jpg, .gif, and .png files.
2. Make sure your image is no larger than I Mb, nor 1600 x 1400 pixels. We can't handle image files bigger than that!
3. Did that work? If not, it's possible there is something wrong with the file you are trying to upload. Try opening the file on your computer and re-saving it under a different filename. Now give it a try!

How do I change my personal information?

1. Start by making sure you are logged in.
2. Click on "My Profile" in the top navigation menu from anywhere on Shoptopia. You can also click your profile name in the Alerts area in the upper right of each page.
3. Click the "Edit" button in the upper-right of your profile page.
4. From here you can change whatever information you like.
5. Click "Save" to commit your changes.

How do I change my e-mail address?

1. Start by making sure you are logged in.

3. Click the "Edit" button in the upper-right of your profile page.
4. Choose the "Account Settings" tab.
5. Enter your new e-mail address and click "Save."

How do I change my password?

1. Start by making sure you are logged in.
2. Click on "My Profile" in the top navigation menu from anywhere on Shoptopia. You can also click your profile name in the Alerts area in the upper right of each page.
3. Click the "Edit" button in the upper-right of your profile page.
4. Choose the "Account Settings" tab.
5. Enter your new password (twice for confirmation) and click "Save."

I forgot my Password. Now what?

1. Click the "Forgot Password" link in the Alerts area in the upper right of any Shoptopia page.
2. Enter the e-mail address you used to create your profile.
3. Check your e-mail for a message from Shoptopia temporary password.
4. Follow the instructions in that e-mail.

1. Click the "Lost Password" link in the Alerts area in the upper right of any Shoptopia page.
2. Enter the e-mail address you used to create your profile.
3. Check your e-mail for a message from Shoptopia temporary password.
4. Follow the instructions in that e-mail.
